The house enjoys extensive sea views from the West facing terrace overlooking Polzeath beach, only a 5 minute walk away down a private road. At night you can enjoy the fantastic sunset whilst sipping a glass of wine or enjoying a bar-b-que sitting outside on the terrace.

Downstairs:

Hall, sitting room, open plan kitchen/dining room with french doors leading to a patio and garden. Bedroom 1 twin with en suite shower room, Utility room and outside shower.

Upstairs:

Bedroom 2 double with en suite bathroom/shower, Bedroom 3 double, Bedroom 4 bunk beds and family bathroom. Electricity included, with central heating, open fire, electric cooker and Aga, microwave, fridge, freezer, electric shaver point, washing machine, ironing facilities, food processor, cafetiere, television, video and music centre. Garden, patio, parking facilities. Dogs not accepted. This is a no smoking property.

Winter time is a must, as Polzeath is deserted and many beaches empty. The whole atmosphere changes from a busy summer resort to a quiet soul searching & tranquil environment. In the kitchen the house has an Aga and a log fire in the sitting room, ideal for a cold winters night.

North Cornish Coast

Westpoint is situated in Polzeath, one of the best known surfing beaches in North Cornwall. For those who don't surf there are plenty of other activities to enjoy as the house provides an ideal base to explore the miles of stunning Cornish coast line. In nearby Rock you can take advantage of the estuary and enjoy sailing and water skiing. North Cornwall hosts many tourist attractions: Padstow with its numerous restaurants, plenty of Golf courses and lots of day trips to experience with the children. The camel trail (cycling and walk track) runs from Padstow to Bodmin. Bikes can be hired in Wadebridge.

Important information

Arrival & Departure
This is always on a Friday (except for short breaks and over Christmas/New Year when it depends on when Christmas Day is). We ask that you arrive no earlier than 3pm to ensure that Westpoint is spotless and that you leave no later than 10am.
Linen
Linen is not included but can be hired at an additional cost of Ł50 per week.
Please let us know if you require this service when making your reservation.
Tariff
Prices are for one weeks holiday which is inclusive of hot water, heating, lighting.
Payment
30% of the total cost is due on booking, with the balance due 10 weeks prior to
the start of your holiday. If booking is less than 10 weeks before your holiday the
total rent is due at the time of booking. If you cancel you will be liable for the
total cost of the booking unless we can re-let to someone else. We advise you to
take out holiday insurance. A booking only becomes effective once we have
written to you with confirmation.
Westpoint Availability
If for any reason beyond our control (e.g. fire, flood, storm etc..) Westpoint
becomes unavailable for letting before you arrive, the booking will be treated as
cancelled and we will refund any monies already paid but we regret that we
cannot accept responsibility for any other liability or compensation.
Damage to Property
We would be grateful if any breakages or damage be reported in the breakages
book or reported to us directly, so that the item can be repaired or replaced. It
may be necessary for the guest to be held liable for the payment of any
replacement or repair.
Liability
Whilst we have taken great care to ensure that all the information and particulars
in our brochure are correct, we cannot be held liable in repect of changes or
alterations made in the general course of things. Guests using Westpoint, and the
garden do so entirely at their own risk and we will not be liable to loss, injury or
death unless this is caused by our negligence or unless limitation of liability is
prohibited by law.
