The Crescent Bed and
Breakfast offers homely cottage accommodation within the picturesque
coastal town of Bude. There is a light and airy dining room in which to
enjoy light meals, and comfortable bedrooms all with television and
coffee making facilities. The Crescent offers en-suite bedrooms with
shower and standard bedrooms with shared shower. A private patio area at
the front of the cottage gives you a sunny area in which you can sit and
enjoy a cup of tea or just sit and watch the world go by. Car parking is
easy, access to some private parking is available and the Tourist
Information Offices car park is opposite. There are level walks to pubs,
restaurants, and shops, and all are very close to the Bed and Breakfast.
The beautiful canal walk starts opposite the cottage and there are also
stunning coastal walks across the downs to Widemouth Bay and Northcott
Bay.
Bude & the Surrounding Area
The Crescent Bed and
Breakfast is ideally situated within the seaside town of Bude. It is
only minutes from the Bude Canal and Sea Lock,
Summerleaze Beach and Breakwater. A short walk brings you to Efford
Downs and Compass Point which afford panoramic coastal views North West
to Lundy Island and South along the rugged coastline to
Tintagel.
Enjoy spectacular
coastal walks or explore the sandy bays, smugglers' coves, rocky pools
and cliffs. Bude is internationally
famous for surfing, and the area also offers excellent opportunities for
golfing, horse riding and fishing. Renowned for clean water, high
cliffs, golden sands and surfing, the South West Coastal Path and the
dramatic scenery of the Atlantic Heritage Coast offer something for all.
Other local sites to visit include
Boscastle Harbour and
King Arthur’s Castle, the Eden Project is a little further afield & the beautiful village of Clovelly
is just over the border in Devon.
