About
Quay Cottage
This 18th Century fisherman’s cottage, nestling in the rocks at the waters edge,
is built of Cornish stone and faces south, overlooking
Port
Quin bay.
The grounds include lawn, terrace and outbuildings and at high
tide it is possible to swim safely from the rocks directly below the cottage.
Low tide reveals numerous rock pools, caves and sandy areas.
There are stunning
walks along the coastal path north to
Port Isaac or south to Pentire Head and beyond.
The cottage is simply furnished in order to remain in tune with its history and
surroundings.
A well stocked kitchen leads to a sitting/dining room with open
fireplace and Cornish settle.
There is a further ground floor room with
multi-fuel stove and adjoining bathroom.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a W.C.
An idyllic setting for a family holiday.
Quay Cottage sleeps 5 (a double room, a single room and room with bunk beds).
There is also a cot in the cottage.
Please bring your own linen: duvet covers, pillow cases, bottom sheet and
towels.
Electricity is not included in the rental.
Pets are allowed by arrangement with the owner.
