About 27 The Park

This self-contained holiday chalet is set in the peaceful parkland setting of Penstowe Park Holiday Village and sleeps 4-5 people, in two bedrooms. One double and the other with a bunk bed, the bottom of which pulls out to a double. There is a kitchen, lounge and bathroom with electric shower over bath. 27 the Park is fully equipped to a high standard and includes a microwave, TV and DVD player. A cot and a highchair are available free of charge. The beds are made up for your arrival (bed linen is not provided for the cot). Electricity is provided via a coin meter which takes £1 coins.
 
Please note we operate a strictly non-smoking policy in 27 the park.

The Surrounding Area

The village of Kilkhampton, is a ten minute walk from Penstowe, It has two pubs, a fish & chip shop, a post office, and other useful shops. The nearest beach is a national trust beach at Sandymouth bay, approximately 3 miles away.
Other nearby attractions include; the Tamar Lakes which have excellent water sports, angling and many stunning walks; the South West Coastal Path and the dramatic scenery of the Atlantic Heritage Coast. The area also offers Widemouth Bay, famous for its surfing and numerous theme parks and activities for families.
The Bude area offers its visitors a variety of holiday experiences from a relaxing short or weekend break to challenging activity holidays in natural surroundings, family holidays with nearby attractions and adventure parks, and opportunities for walking, cycling, golf and bird watching.
The area also has some of the best surfing beaches in the UK.

Penstowe Park Holiday Park has been awarded 4 stars by the English Tourism Council and is a beautiful setting with a 19th Century Cotswold style Manor House which offers excellent leisure facilities,

Arriving & Departing

General Information & Conditions of Booking

● Our weekly rates run from Saturday to Saturday. Short breaks are from Friday to Monday (3 nights) or Monday to Friday (4 nights).

● Electricity is provided by a coin meter (£1 coin only)

● £75 per week or part week is payable with your booking. The balance is due eight weeks before your holiday is due to commence. A separate refundable £10 deposit is required for the keys. Please send a separate cheque for this amount with your main deposit. The cheque will be returned to you once the keys are returned after your stay.

● The chalet is fully equipped and includes bath mat, bed linen, duvets and pillows. TV and DVD player, china, cutlery and cooking utensils. Also provided are a child’s cot and one high chair. Towels, dishcloths and tea towels are not provided.

● No bedding is provided for the cot.

● Arrivals are from 4.00pm on the first day of your holiday and you must vacate the chalet by 10.00am on the day of departure, leaving it in a clean condition.

● For all male, all female, or young (under 20) mixed groups, please check before booking.

● CANCELLATION. If you have to cancel your holiday please let us know by phone then follow it in writing. If we manage to re-let you may only lose your deposit. Otherwise you may be liable for the full amount outstanding.

● We do not accept any liability for loss of or damage to, personal effects, baggage, car, car accessories, or any other item belonging to the hirers party, except insofar as the loss or damage arises from a substantial defect or damage existing in the chalet which was known or should have been known to us but for our negligence.

● Please note we operate a strictly non-smoking policy in 27 the park.
